Any suggestions on how to word Super Bowl/Housewarming Invitations?
Any suggestions on Super Bowl/Housewarming invitation wording?
My husband and I recently bought our first home. Our friends and family are constantly asking us when we plan on having a housewarming party. We would prefer to have more of an “Open House” so our guests don’t feel obligated to get us gifts, so we’ve decided to host a Super Bowl party as our Housewarming. We’re sending out evites and would like to know how we should word the invitations?

I was thinking about just using “Housewarming” as the “Chose a theme” title, and keeping everything else focused on the Superbowl.
We’ll be serving football themed food, and we plan on having a football pool. We’re opening the invitation to family and friends, so children are welcome. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on the wording of our evite.

We’d like to welcome all our family and friends to our first annual Super Bowl party (Date & Time). Guests are requested to wear football attire and come hungry and leave happy (especially if the Chargers win). No gifts please. Sincerely, Us.
