Questions for Bowling story?
i am doing a story just about bowling.. have to interview some students, some bowling places, and im going to try to get a hold of a professional bowler.. i need some good questions to ask them… does anyone have ideas??
For students (assuming not on a bowling league/team):
What do you like to see when you go bowling?
Why do you think it’s the number 1 participation sport in America?
Have you ever thought about joining a league for fun or to better yourself?
For the bowling center:
What are you doing to keep open bowlers coming through your doors?
Do you find it hard to balance the satisfication of open bowlers and league bowlers?
For a professional: (I recommend trying to reach Walter Ray Williams Jr. he’s the PBA’s all time title holder with 42. You can email him through www.walterray.com He’s the only one whom I know how to contact.)
What is it like to be on tour?
At what skill level do you think a bowler needs to be at in order to join the PBA?
Your “A” game is to roll a straighter line to the pocket, the same goes for Norm Duke. Do you find that the “young guns” on tour who are more comfortable with hooking the ball are finding that straighter is better?
Many people compare bowling with golf, do you agree?
In your personal experience how do you compare horseshoe pitching with bowling?
(On top of being a 42 time titleist on the PBA tour, Walter Ray is also a 6 time World Horseshoe Pitching Champion)
Good Luck with the interview.
