Best technique for low oil lanes?

I am in a bowling league that bowls after a big money 5 man per team league, so the lanes oil is typically all used up, leaving it very dry.. i use a 14 lb tropical storm, and usually bowl just to the right of the center, straight down, with a late sharp break into the pocket.. however, with the low oil, the ball typically breaks too early, and too far.. would my best strategy be to go across the lane to let it hook back? thanks guys.

Either throw the ball harder, or move more to the opposite of the direction you’re throwing.. or use a spare ball.
